Every AI query carries a compact system inventory of clipboard items, tags, MFA accounts, and app version, so non-keyword questions stop getting sparse context. A similarity fallback routes near-miss queries to the right branch.
Untrusted Ollama URL warning
Settings shows a persistent warning under the Ollama URL field whenever the address is not local or private, powered by a dedicated trust check.
Gemini Cloud dictation and engine transparency
Opt-in Gemini Cloud provider on the documented 3.5 Transcribe contract with credential testing before save, plus speech surfaces that report the effective engine so cloud egress stays visible. This round saves failed translations to speech history and bounds Layer 2 refinement by a deadline.
Linux file attachment and clipboard parity
Magic Menu file insertion on Linux delivers a real file attachment through the native clipboard target, path normalization stays Windows-only, and copy file reports the real outcome, closing the gap with Windows behavior.
Embedding and semantic search toggles
Settings switches for automatic embedding plus semantic search and suggestions, with keyword fallback when semantic search is off and stored vectors kept so re-enabling resumes without re-indexing.
Standalone CLI workstation setup
Headless database init plus local template variable expansion matching the MCP tools, Arch AUR packaging, shell completion, trigger shims, and full workstation setup in the Linux installer. CLI version 0.2.0.
Planned horizons
Direction, not deadlines. Near means backed by code or infrastructure in this repo. Longer and exploratory means researched but not started.
Linux desktop and native hotkeys
Linux now ships signed releases from a one-command VPS pipeline with safe builds and the companion docks next to the AI launcher, while clipboard and file attachment parity is landing. Remaining work brings the low-latency keyboard interception engine to X11 and Wayland for full Windows parity.
Rhai scripting expansion
More native helpers for the embedded Rhai engine, file system, HTTP fetch, and JSON parsing, so power users automate without leaving the app.
Backup and LAN sync hardening
Build on automatic rescue backups and local-network transfer with stronger integrity checks and restore paths, before any cloud sync exists.
Unified Credential Vault
Grow the MFA authenticator toward password management, secure notes, cards, and API keys under zero-knowledge defense in depth, following the written vault plan with zero breaking changes.
Android keyboard expansion
A custom input-method keyboard that brings snippet expansion to messaging and email apps, extending the Android companion that already manages snippets and clipboard.
Optional end-to-end encrypted sync
Zero-knowledge cloud sync for multi-workstation professionals, strictly opt-in, with the offline-first default untouched.
Team shared libraries
Shared snippet folders over local network drives or Git repositories, so engineering teams standardize replies and runbooks without a cloud account.

Folder organization and semantic tag suggestions learned from snippet contents and usage habits, extending the on-device semantic search already shipped.
