Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (Terms) are a legal agreement between you and PT BCB Academy Indonesia. They govern your access to this website (snipset.belajarcarabelajar.com), your license purchase, and the services around them: licensing, activation, updates, support, and contact.

Three documents work together. These Terms cover the website, your purchase, and our services. The End-User License Agreement (EULA) you accept when you install the software is the binding agreement for your right to use the software itself; you can read its full text on our licenses page. Our Privacy and Data Trust policy explains what data we handle and how long we keep it.

By downloading, purchasing, activating, or using Snipset or this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

Snipset is an AI-assisted snippet manager and text expander. The desktop app runs on Windows 10 and 11 (x64) and on Linux (x64, AppImage and DEB installers). The Android app runs on Android 8.0 and later as a sideloaded APK. macOS is not yet supported; it is on our public roadmap.

Snipset works offline after activation. There is no account system and no cloud sync: your snippets live on your devices. The full platform details are on the system requirements page.

A one-time payment grants a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the licensed version for your personal or internal business purposes, exactly as the EULA states. Activation happens online the first time: the app sends your license code together with a one-way hardware identifier to our license server. After that, the app runs offline from its local token and does not phone home; a server check runs only to recover a missing token after a reinstall. Codes used past their seat limit are rejected with an installation-limit error. License codes look like SNIPSET- followed by 8 characters; keep yours private.

Purchase and delivery

You buy through our checkout on belajarcarabelajar.com. Prices are in Indonesian rupiah and charged once; there is no subscription. After your payment is confirmed, your license code is delivered to you by email. If the code has not arrived within 3 days of payment confirmation, contact us.

No free trial

Snipset offers no free trial or evaluation tier.

Refunds

All license purchases are final. We grant a refund only when the product fails to install on a supported platform that meets the published system requirements, or when your license code was not delivered within 3 days of payment confirmation. Purchases made without checking the published platform specifications are not refundable: the desktop app currently supports Windows and Linux only, and macOS is not yet supported. To request a refund, email iwan@snipset.belajarcarabelajar.com from your original purchase email address.

Your perpetual license includes all minor updates for the licensed version at no charge. Major upgrades (for example 0.x to 1.x or 1.x to 2.x) may require an upgrade fee under the EULA. There are no subscription or annual fees.

Updates arrive through the in-app auto-updater, which checks our signed update manifest when the app launches and periodically while it runs. Update artifacts are signature-verified before they install. You can disable automatic checks in settings and install new releases manually from this website.

License rules

You may not sell, resell, rent, lease, lend, or redistribute the software or your license keys. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except where applicable law permits it anyway. You may not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the software, and you must keep copyright notices intact. Breach ends the agreement.

Our services

Do not circumvent license activation, device limits, the license-gated download, or the license-gated support center. Do not abuse this website, the demo, the QA tools, or the contact and support forms with spam, scraping, or automation that degrades them for others.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you create, store, or generate with Snipset, for keeping backups of your snippet data, and for complying with the laws that apply to you.

Snippets, settings, clipboard history, and local backups live on your devices, not on our servers. That also means backups are your responsibility: keep copies somewhere safe.

Content you choose to route through optional integrations, such as Telegram sync, Todoist sync, web-search grounding, or local-network sharing, leaves your device under your control and is subject to those providers' terms. Do not store or transmit unlawful material with Snipset. We do not scan the files on your devices; we enforce these rules at the boundaries of our own services, including the right to refuse service to abusers.

Text generation and semantic search run against your own local Ollama daemon, so prompts stay on your hardware. We operate no cloud AI service.

Two things do need the network. AI models are downloaded through your local Ollama setup, which requires internet access, and the optional web-search grounding sends only your query to the provider you choose. AI output can be wrong: review generated content before you rely on it. Optional integrations (Telegram, Todoist, video and search proxies) are third-party services with their own terms, and we do not control Ollama, model publishers, or those providers.

The servers behind licensing, support, updates, and crash analysis hold a small set of operational records, and nothing else. Our Privacy and Data Trust policy lists each record with its exact retention period: license codes with owner contact details and hashed machine identifiers, support tickets, QA reports, aggregate blog analytics, and opt-in crash reports.

Snipset, this website, and their content are the property of PT BCB Academy Indonesia, Copyright 2026, all rights reserved. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property to you beyond the license the EULA grants.

Snipset ships third-party open-source components, and AI models with open weights that you download on demand. Every shipped package is attributed with its version and license on our licenses page.

THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE LICENSOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Website content, including documentation, benchmarks, and roadmaps, is provided for information and may change. We do not warrant that the website or the software will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for the behavior of third-party models, providers, or integrations.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT, EVEN IF THE LICENSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

For this website and our related services, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your Snipset license. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Without prejudice to any other rights, we may terminate the EULA if you fail to comply with its terms. In that event you must destroy all copies of the software in your possession. We may also suspend your access to the license-gated download, the support center, and other services for abuse such as circumvention, spam, or fraudulent refund claims.

We may update these Terms. Material changes are posted on this page with a new effective date before they take effect. Continued use of Snipset or this website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If a dispute arises, contact us first at the address below so we can try to resolve it directly. If you use Snipset in the European Economic Area, your mandatory consumer rights under local law are unaffected.
